Hospice Isle of Man are looking for a Flexi Bank - Chef

Our Chef will provide cover on an adhoc basis in the absence of the Catering Manager to assist with the service and provision of food to all users of Hospice catering services and deliver a high level of customer care.

You will possess a passion for food, delivering a high standard of quality meals to patients, families and staff.

Integrity, discretion and the ability to communicate sensitively will be qualities that come easily to you.

You should be qualified to a recognised standard (NVQ level 2-3/City & Guilds BTEC or HNC) in hospitality, catering, culinary arts or similar and completed the IOSH Managing Safely course, or equivalent.  You will have significant experience of working within the hospitality field, Food and Beverage Service and working in a strict food safety environment in line with IOM legislation.

You will need to be flexible in your approach and will be required to cover work shifts including evenings and weekends on an adhoc, as required basis.

Sometimes other priorities must be delivered as well – your ability to multi-task is key to being successful in this role.
